Pet Boarding

Providing Pets With A Vacation Of Their Own

Allowing your pet to stay home while you’re at work or traveling is not always possible. As difficult as it can be to leave your pet in the care of someone else while you’re away, we can assure you that our team will treat them like family here at Countryside Veterinary Center. Whether your pet has to board with us for a week or your dog needs a place to run around and socialize for a day, our cat and dog boarding and dog daycare services can accommodate them fully.

Along with supervision from our friendly team members, your pet can also receive care from one of our veterinarians should a problem arise. Our goal is always to keep your pet happy and give you the peace of mind you deserve.

What Our Dog Daycare In Countryside, IL Offers

If your dog has difficulty spending extended periods of time alone at home, our dog daycare program might be a healthy option for them. You can enroll your pet in either half-day or full-day sessions where they can enjoy the company of other dogs in a supervised play area (indoor or outdoor, weather permitting) and get the socialization they need. Our outdoor dog daycare spaces includes dog-friendly artificial turf, small wading pools, and plenty of toys and obstacles to engage with.

As with boarding, your dog does need to be up-to-date on all of their vaccines, and be parasite-free. They will also need to undergo a behavioral evaluation to determine how well they get along with other dogs. Dogs who prefer their own company can expect one-on-one playtime with our staff members. If you would like more information about our dog daycare or cat and dog boarding services, please let us know by calling (708) 469-6050.

No raw food diets to patients in the hospital or boarding facility.

At Countryside Veterinary Center, the health and well-being of our patients are our top priorities. In line with established veterinary practices and ensuring the utmost safety for all animals under our care, as well as our dedicated staff, we will not feed raw food diets to patients within our hospital or boarding facility. While we understand that raw food diets have gained popularity among some pet owners, they pose potential risks such as bacterial contamination and nutritional imbalances that could compromise the health of our patients. Moreover, handling raw food diets can also expose our staff to potential pathogens, creating an additional safety concern. Instead, we are committed to offering balanced and scientifically formulated diets that meet the individual nutritional needs of each pet, promoting their overall health and recovery.
