Dr. Kristine Witte, DVM - Associate Veterinarian

Background: Born and raised in Illinois, Dr. Witte grew up in Orland Park and is excited to be back near family and friends. She began her professional journey in cosmetology, earning her license and working in a variety of salons—especially enjoying children’s haircuts and party styling. Over time, she discovered a growing interest in veterinary medicine while volunteering at a local animal shelter. That experience inspired her to return to school and ultimately pursue a career as a veterinarian. Dr. Witte earned her DVM from the University of Illinois and is proud to be putting her passion for animal care into practice.

Professional Passion: Dr. Witte is passionate about providing care to clients and patients from all walks of life. She believes in meeting people where they are and working together to find the best options for them and their beloved animals. She has been involved in several Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives aimed at making veterinary medicine more accessible. In addition, she has experience training service dogs and working with dogs who have behavioral challenges, and she continues to have a strong interest in training and behavioral health.

Pets & Personal Interests: Outside of work, Dr. Witte shares her life with her boyfriend and their dog, Dingus—a goofy, affectionate rescue who survived heartworm-related heart failure and is now living his best life. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, thrifting, and curating her unique collections of vintage finds, novelty candles, and Oscar Mayer Wienermobile memorabilia. She's also known for her signature style, complete with bold earrings and colorful eyeglasses.
